SENNTRi is a sub-regional initiative, set up in 2000 to maximise the social and economic benefits of South East Northumberland and North Tyneside.

Established in 2000 SENNTRi is a sub-regional initiative which brings together public, private and third sector agencies to maximise the social and economic benefits of South East Northumberland and North Tyneside.

Having agreed the Strategy and Action Plan, an ambitious three year Business Plan for the area was launched in October 2006 to develop a region that attracts new investment, and offers long term employment, educational and cultural opportunities for people. Further to this an updated Business Plan was approved in 2007 and is available on this website.

This website is designed to help you find out more about the work of SENNTRi. You can also check out the news section to get the latest on regeneration plans for South East Northumberland and North Tyneside.
